I grew up in a small town in central Ohio and became an avid film fan at a young age. My interest developed when I began using the family camera to shoot video shorts with my brothers and relatives.
In 2012 I earned a degree in Electronic Media Communications from the University of Cincinnati and received several prestigious awards for a documentary that I directed/produced, including a production award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Ohio Chapter). From that point on I realized, if you work hard to create something different in a stylistic and meaningful way, then you have accomplished something great.
The following year, I decided to move to the Big Apple to pursue a career in videography. I felt in order to get the most work and experience in my field, I had to move to a large city. I currently live in New York City and working as a freelance videographer. I’ve had the opportunity to work on several recognized TV/film projects while developing connections along the way. My work has been showcased through several media outlets, including Fashion One TV, The art and design channel, Vinous Media and Bloomberg Business.
Receiving an Emmy Award for the documentary "Sixteen Years and Counting".
